In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the daily operations of our department and assist in providing essential services to the residents of Austin. Provide administrative support to the City of Austin Parks and Recreation Department. Assist in the daily operations of the department, including scheduling, data entry, and record-keeping. Support the delivery of essential services to the residents of Austin. Contribute to the overall success of the department by performing various administrative tasks. Ensure accurate and timely completion of administrative duties.Maintain organized and detailed records to effectively track department activities. Communicate effectively with team members and department staff. Handle incoming calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner. Assist in coordinating department events and activities. Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective operations. Demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service and community engagement. Follow department policies and procedures to maintain a safe and productive work environment.Attend department meetings and training sessions as needed.
