What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Supervise students throughout the school day, both in the school building and on work sites
- Assist students with social behavior, personal hygiene, and self-help skills
- Support students during instruction and other curriculum tasks
- Manage student behavior in various learning environments
- Gather data regarding student performance on instructional and behavioral goals
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or Equivalency Certificate
- Ability to work with physically, mentally, emotionally, and/or multiple disabilities students
- Demonstrated ability to effectively work with diverse populations
- Proficiency with business technology applications
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as extensive walking, standing, carrying, and lifting
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Formal academic courses/training in the field of child development
- Experience working with students with special needs
