Temp Accounts Payable Specialist, Global Financial & Account Services (Hybrid from Seattle)

Your Role
You help create and support best practices in the accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions including financial reporting, payroll, treasury, and tax. You handle complex finance and accounting issues, including processing invoices for the foundation and subsidiary companies related to operating expenses, purchase orders, contracts and grants along with corresponding check and wire payments, and addressing the needs of a variety of issues relating to payments of foundation vendors and grantees. You help with day-to-day procure to pay process (P2P) operations through the management of accurate processing and recording of ongoing invoice and grant payment activities.
What You'll Do
Support Global Payments Team with various day-to-day activities.
Establish and maintain vendors and detailed banking instructions in the foundations ERP system and DocuSign.
Work closely with GCS, Program Teams, Grantees and Vendors to resolve any banking issues that arise.
Serve as Program Administrator for the Foundation's Expense Reporting Platform as well as Banking Partner (credit cards only).
Ensure all foundation-issued credit cards remain in good standing.
Ad-hoc reporting.
Other tasks as assigned.
Support inclusive culture through modeling behaviors and actions; raise issues in a timely fashion to appropriate stakeholders.
Your Experience
A Bachelors degree or equivalent demonstrated experience preferably in accounting or finance.
Technical expertise related to invoices, expenses, payments, banking and related processes, systems and tools.
Advanced knowledge of domestic and international payment protocols (Check, ACH, Domestic & International wires).
Proficiency with Dynamics 365 or similar accounting platforms.
Experience with Concur.
Preferred experience with Coupa.
Must be able to legally work in the country where this position is located without visa sponsorship.
