A Day in the life of a Credit Union Teller:
Tellers at CFCU are an integral part of providing the exceptional member experience we strive for- our tellers are the face of CFCU! Tellers process deposits and withdrawals with cash, checks, and other negotiable instruments; answer account inquiry questions through our core operating system; ensure internal policies and procedures are met regarding transactions and the collection of negotiable instruments, the correct handling of cash and coin, and rules and regulations required to state and federal law. Tellers also help to build positive member relationships by educating members about the products and services that will benefit their financial well-being.

Christian Financial Credit Union began more than 70 years ago as St. Jude Parish credit union in Detroit and has since grown to serve 60,000 members with more than $842 million in assets. Christian Financial offers high-quality, high-value products and services to promote convenience, trust and personal service for members. The credit union offers comprehensive financial services beyond typical retail consumer services through ownership of a mortgage company and a commercial loan company. In September 2019, the credit union built its new headquarters in Sterling Heights, Michigan to accommodate its rapid growth in serving residents of metro Detroit. Christian Financial is committed to our communities through volunteerism and community financial support. To further this mission, the credit union launched the Christian Financial Credit Union Outreach & Impact Foundation in 2022
