About the position

The Teller Manager at TD Bank is responsible for leading a team of service colleagues to promote a positive customer and colleague experience. This role involves providing day-to-day leadership and work direction to ensure effective and efficient delivery of service and advice activities while maintaining compliance with regulatory guidelines. The Teller Manager will coach and develop colleagues to achieve overall store results, including operational excellence, store advice and referral goals, and personal development objectives. In this position, the Teller Manager will oversee all activities related to the Teller line, from operations to sales and servicing. This includes Teller coaching and effective lobby leadership. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of a range of products and services, processes, and systems, as transactions may involve low to moderate risk. The Teller Manager is also responsible for vault management, including auditing, reporting, and balancing store currency and transactions, as well as managing currency levels and tracking shipments. The Teller Manager will engage with customers to assess their needs and provide appropriate services or guidance. They will monitor workflows, prioritize tasks, and delegate responsibilities to ensure efficient operations. Additionally, the Teller Manager will coach the Teller team on financial transactions, customer experience, and effective referral opportunities, while planning and organizing activities to resolve operational issues. This role requires sound judgment in decision-making and problem-solving, as well as the ability to lead by example and foster a cohesive team environment.

Requirements
• Undergraduate degree preferred and/or 2+ years of relevant experience.

• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

• Sound judgment in decision-making and problem-solving.

• Demonstrated knowledge of Banking Compliance Regulations.
