Responsibilities:
ā¢ Provide post-operative care for patients recovering from open heart surgery and vascular procedures.
ā¢ Monitor and manage cardiac drips and other critical treatments with precision.
ā¢ Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, safe patient outcomes.
ā¢ Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments and interventions.
ā¢ Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and participate in ongoing patient education.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
ā¢ Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
ā¢ BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred.
ā¢ Previous experience in surgical cardiology, specifically with post open heart care and cardiac drips.
ā¢ Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
ā¢ Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced, high-acuity environments.
