Telemetry Nurse (RN) in Greenwood, IN
Providing expert care to patients requiring long-term acute and telemetry services, this Registered Nurse role demands clinical excellence, leadership, and critical thinking within a hospital setting. You will deliver comprehensive nursing care in line with the Nursing Process, state regulations, and hospital protocols, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
⢠Deliver skilled nursing care to telemetry and LTAC patients, incorporating patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
⢠Exercise leadership and supervision of nursing staff, delegating tasks according to staff competencies and patient care priorities.
⢠Utilize critical thinking and scientific judgment to anticipate and plan safe care strategies.
⢠Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and adherence to hospital policies.
⢠Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
⢠Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
⢠Active Indiana RN license or multi-state compact license.
⢠Minimum of two years recent experience in Telemetry and LTAC nursing within a hospital environment.
⢠Ventilator and tracheostomy care proficiency.
⢠Current American Heart Association ACLS and BLS certifications.
⢠Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise clinical teams.
⢠Strong critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills.
