Telemetry Nurse (RN) in El Dorado, KS

Location: El Dorado, KS (with assignment at a nearby acute care specialty unit’s facility) Schedule/Hours: • Night Shift: 7 PM to 7 AM Key Responsibilities: • Deliver direct nursing care to telemetry patients, including those with central lines and medication drips • Monitor vital signs and telemetry data accurately, using PCA and IV pumps • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans • Maintain thorough patient documentation in the Meditech EMR system • Adhere to unit-specific guidelines and policies to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes Qualifications and Experience: • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license • Proficient in Telemetry nursing • BLS certification required • Skilled in handling acute care telemetry equipment such as PCA and IV pumps • Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills • Independent, engaged attitude with positive interpersonal skills Work Environment: This unit in a reputable healthcare facility features a 29-bed telemetry unit staffed by a skilled team of RNs and Patient Care Technicians.
