Telemarketing Specialist – Call Team (Roofing, Paint, and Windows)
We are a Southern California–based construction company looking to revamp our telemarketing department into what we call the Call Team. This team is the frontline of our marketing outreach, responsible for having educated, professional conversations with homeowners and setting quality appointments for our sales reps.
We are seeking experienced telemarketing specialists who can confidently speak with homeowners, ask the right questions, and position our company as the expert in roofing, painting, and windows.
Responsibilities
• Make outbound calls to new leads, past leads, and prior customers.
• Hold professional, knowledgeable conversations about home improvement topics (roof maintenance, roof replacement timelines, paint lifespans, window energy efficiency, etc.).
• Ask discovery questions to understand the homeowner’s situation (e.g., age of home vs. age of roof).
• Set high-quality appointments for our sales reps.
• Work rehash leads and offer qualified discounts through PandaDoc (training provided).
• Follow a structured call cadence with proper note-taking and lead disposition.
• Achieve daily/weekly KPIs for dials, conversations, and appointments booked.
Requirements
• Proven telemarketing, appointment setting, or inside sales experience.
• Excellent English communication skills (clear, confident speaking voice).
• Ability to learn and retain product knowledge in roofing, painting, and windows.
• Strong objection-handling and customer service skills.
• Experience working with CRMs, dialers, or sales tools (SalesRabbit, Acculynx, or similar a plus).
• Comfortable working U.S. business hours (Pacific Time).
Preferred Skills
• Familiarity with appointment setting and sales qualification.
