Telehealth Psychiatrist (California Licensed)

Telehealth Psychiatrist (California Licensed) Part-Time | 20 hrs/week | Remote We are seeking a California-licensed, Board-Certified Psychiatrist to join our virtual behavioral health team. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling, no on-call requirements, and the opportunity to provide high-quality psychiatric care in a fully remote environment. Key Responsibilities • Provide psychiatric consultation and treatment guidance for patients in behavioral health programs. • Collaborate with the COO, LCSWs, and patient advocates on diagnosis, medication management, and care planning. • Participate in weekly case review meetings for complex cases. • Support clinicians with education, escalation pathways, and care coordination. • Contribute feedback on improving digital tools and collaborative care workflows. • Maintain accurate, compliant documentation. Qualifications • Board Certified Psychiatrist (Adult, Child & Adolescent, or General Psychiatry). • Active, unrestricted California medical license (MD/DO). • Open to new grads with licensure; minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred. • Experience in Collaborative Care, integrated behavioral health, or telepsychiatry is a plus. • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently. • Comfortable treating adults (18–65+). Role Details • Part-Time | Minimum 20 hours/week. • Typical hours: Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM PST (Saturday morning optional). • Fully virtual outpatient setting; 3 patients per hour, single-visit model. • 1099 contractor role (no benefits). • Pay: $135–$160/hour depending on experience. • Start Date: Immediate. • Interview Process: 1 interview + reference checks.
