First Visit MD is excited to invite Medical Doctors (MD) and Doctors of Osteopathy (DO) currently licensed in the US to join our team in urgent care telehealth.
About First Visit MD
Our providers care about patients and their future care. First Visit MD is the first stop in a patient’s healthcare journey after an accident. Our nationwide services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Patients can speak with a US- licensed provider via phone or video at their convenience. Our providers can diagnose, document, treat injuries and prescribe medication as needed.
Position Overview:
• Role: Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
• Location: Fully Remote – Work from Home!
• Schedule: Must be able to provide a minimum 30 hours/week of availability, with flexible scheduling options
• Compensation: Hourly rates from $55/hour
Responsibilities:
• Conduct scheduled remote consultation visits with patients
• Evaluate and document the patient’s medical history, physical findings and symptoms
• Initiate and prescribe medications available to be overnighted to the patient’s home
• Request further imaging or specialty care as necessary based on the needs of the patient
• Physicians living abroad or internationally encouraged to apply
Requirements
• Must have US license
• Required to work a minimum of 30 hours per week. Schedule is flexible.
• Must have at least 2 years experience in Primary Care or Internal Medicine
• A graduate of an accredited Medical School
• Would prefer someone with a background in Personal Injury or Emergency Medicine.
• Previous telehealth experience is not required, however, candidates should be comfortable navigating EHRs and working independently.
• Current, valid, and unrestricted license to practice in the US. Licensure in the following state will be given priority:
• California
• Florida
• Massachusetts
• New York
• New Jersey
• Georgia
• Texas
• Illinois
