Telecom Infrastructure Engineer II (US)

About the position A telecommunications low voltage engineer designs, installs, maintains, and troubleshoots low-voltage systems, including data networks, telecommunications, security systems, and audio-visual equipment. This role involves expert knowledge of specific domain or range of engineering frameworks, technology, tools, processes and procedures, as well as organization issues. The engineer may provide leadership to teams or projects and applies in-depth skills and broad knowledge of the business to address complex problems and non-standard situations. Responsibilities • Installation of low-voltage wiring, including data cables, fiber optic cables, and other communication systems. • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on existing low-voltage systems. • Design new low-voltage systems, ensuring they meet industry standards and client requirements. • Test and certify low-voltage systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and comply with relevant codes. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with low-voltage systems, identifying and implementing effective solutions. • Provide technical support to clients regarding the operation and maintenance of low-voltage systems. Requirements • Bachelor's or Graduate degree in a relevant field. • Strong academic background in computer science or engineering. • 7+ years of relevant experience.
