Position Overview: As a remoteSpecial Education Teacher in Michigan, you will be responsible for providing virtual instruction to students with disabilities in accordance with their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
Use online learning tools and platforms to engage students in interactive lessons(Provided).
Adapt curriculum and instructional methods to meet the unique needs of each student.
Monitor and assess student progress through virtual assessments and data collection.
Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other educational staff to ensure comprehensive support for each student.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and IEP goals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education (or related field).
Valid Michigan Special Education Teaching Certificate (or eligibility for certification).
Experience teaching students with disabilities, including learning disabilities, autism, and other developmental or emotional challenges.
Tech-savvy with experience using virtual learning platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams).
