Telemetry RN Job Details • Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) • Location: Bowling Green, Kentucky (zip 42104) – Kentucky nursing jobs • Unit: Telemetry (TRISTAR DIVISION) • Number of Beds: 36-bed telemetry unit • Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour day shifts) • Hours per Week: 36 • Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,440 - $1,550 per week • Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 11/10/2025 – End: 2/9/2026) • Scheduling: Every other weekend required • Staffing: Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) on day/night shifts, Unit Clerks on day shift • Documentation System: Meditech electronic health records • Location Highlights: Enjoy small-town charm with city amenities, outdoor recreation, local dining, and cultural attractions in Bowling Green, KY. Registered Nurse Qualifications • Active RN license (Kentucky or compact state) • Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry nursing experience • BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke certifications required • Advanced clinical skills: chest tube management and dysrhythmia recognition • Experience with remote telemetry monitors and Alaris infusion pumps preferred • Ability to float to Orthopedic and Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) units as needed • Strong commitment to patient satisfaction and quality care Telemetry Nurse Responsibilities • Deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced telemetry unit (4:1 patient ratio, up to 7:1 at peak) • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, responding promptly to changes in patient status • Assist with clinical procedures such as chest tube insertions, bedside paracentesis, and thoracentesis • Document patient care and assessments using Meditech EHR • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes • Float to Ortho/Med-Surg units per hospital policy • Adhere to telemetry monitoring and stroke protocols • Maintain professional appearance (any scrubs except camo) Join our award-winning healthcare team in Bowling Green, Kentucky—recognized for nursing excellence with Daisy, Bee, and STAR awards.
