Position Overview: As an Intervention Specialist with VocoVision, you will be responsible for delivering targeted support to students in a fully remote setting. Your caseload will consist of K-8 students, and you will employ a resource model to address their unique educational needs. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a significant impact from the comfort of your own home.
Provide individualized and small group instruction to K-8 students in need of academic intervention.
Develop and implement effective intervention plans tailored to each student's needs.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student success.
Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting strategies as necessary to ensure growth.
Maintain detailed records of student progress and intervention outcomes.
Utilize VocoVision's teletherapy platform to deliver engaging and effective instruction.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
Valid Intervention Specialist certification in Ohio.
Proven experience working with K-8 students in an intervention or resource setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with technology and virtual communication tools.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
