Job title: DevOps Security Engineer Company: TEKsystems Job description: Description: Multinational holdings co. looking for a DevOps Security Engineer (DevSecOps) to assist in building out the devsecops pipeline. This person will be heavily participating in the buildout of that to ensure the security aspects are part of the pipeline from the beginning . Working with development and operational teams on best practices for security in development/operations. This person should have experience working in fast paced environments as well as configuring and deploying Infrastructure as Code as necessary to automate security workflows in a CI/CD pipeline. Responsibilities: • Develop and operate security automation toolsets in a DevSecOps tool stack using container orchestration • Consult with development teams on best practices for security in development • Collaborate with operational teams on best practices for security in operations • Automate security workflows • Investigate and remediate technical issues within the security tools used in the DevSecOps tool stack • Investigate and implement new technologies and tools to enhance security capabilities • Configure and deploy Infrastructure as Code as necessary to automate security workflows in a CI/CD pipeline Preferred Competencies: Certifications in security and software engineering. Python language experience JavaScript language experience Back-end development experience Skills: Automation, devsecops, Agile, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, Python, Java Top Skills Details: Automation,devsecops,Agile,CI/CD,Infrastructure as Code,Python Additional Skills & Qualifications: A bachelor's degree or equivalent by track-record of successful enterprise experience. 5+ years Information Security experience 5+ years of Agile Development experience Experience supporting a broad range of security technologies including modern software security automation and scanning, email security tools, Cloud Security Posture Management, firewalls, vulnerability management tools, Secure Access Service Edge, Endpoint Detection and Response, Data Loss Prevention, and Big Data and Analytics solutions. Experience working in an outcomes-focused Product (vs Project Management) delivery mindset and experience with Agile software development approaches. Ability to work in fast paced environment and prioritize in parallel. Customer service orientation, eye for business value, and a bias for action. Expert at working with virtual, and diverse global teams of varied backgrounds and cultural experiences. Exercises independent judgment, strong decision making and problem solving for key processes.
