Technology Program Manager III (AI Enablement Manager)

Work Designation. Depending on your location within the continental US, this role may be hybrid or remote.
• If you live within 50 miles of the Aflac offices located in Columbus, GA or Columbia, SC, this role will be hybrid. This means you will be expected to work in the office for at least 60% of the work week. You will work from your home (within the continental US) for the remaining portion of the work week. Details of this schedule will be discussed with your leadership.
• If you live more than 50 miles from the Aflac offices located in Columbus, GA or Columbia, SC, this role will be remote. This means you will be expected to work from your home, within the continental US. If the role is remote, there may be occasions that you are requested to come to the office based on business need. Any requests to come to the office would be communicated with you in advance.

What does it take to be successful in this role?

This role sits at the intersection of strategy, execution, and human adoption - leading AI projects and enablement programs that help teams across Aflac access, understand, and apply AI in meaningful, measurable ways. The ideal candidate is equal parts project/program leader, change agent, and facilitator - someone who can drive delivery excellence while building the trust, structure, and momentum needed to turn AI potential into lasting business impact. This includes the following:
• Strong knowledge and excellent proficiency in methodologies such as Agile and Scrum, applied within AI, digital transformation, or emerging technology programs
• Extensive experience in program management with a deep understanding of technology landscapes
• Excellent verbal and written communication and facilitation skills to engage diverse audiences, drive alignment, and build enthusiasm for change
• Excellent analytical skills to interpret data, track program and adoption performance, and make data-driven decisions that improve outcomes
• Ability to think critically, solve problems creatively, and bring structure to ambiguous and evolving priorities
• Ability to converse fluently with technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating AI concepts into practical, business-relevant language
• Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and pivot strategies as needed in a fast-moving enterprise environment
• Demonstrated ability to lead and sustain communities of practice, champion networks, or peer-based learning models
• Thoughtful, hands-on approach to change management and organizational adoption - building trust, momentum, and lasting capability
• Ability to influence without direct authority across business, product, technology, and operations stakeholders

Education & Experience Required
• Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field
• Eight or more years of project management, program management, Operations/IT Management, or work-related experience

Or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Education & Experience Preferred
• Experience supporting AI, automation, or digital transformation initiatives in an enterprise setting
• Experience designing and delivering enablement programs, training curricula, learning journeys, or organizational adoption playbooks
• Experience partnering with engineering and business teams on emerging technology rollout and end-user adoption
• Familiarity with AI concepts, tools, and the enterprise software delivery lifecycle
• Personal interest and hands-on experimentation with AI tools, whether in professional or personal contexts
• Experience building or growing communities of practice, including coordinating office hours, managing engagement channels, and sustaining momentum post-launch

Total Rewards

The salary range for this job is $125,000 - $162,000. This range is specific to the job and salary offers consider a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including, but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and peer compensation. The range has been created in good faith based on information known to Aflac at the time of the posting.

At Aflac, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role to allow for future and continued salary growth, and compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each case. This salary range does not include any potential incentive pay or benefits, however, such information will be provided separately when appropriate.
