Technology & Data Project Manager - support independent business & good food!

INFRA is looking for a Technology & Data Project Manager to lead high-impact initiatives in a mission-driven environment. If you’re passionate about delivering intuitive, user-friendly solutions while keeping projects on time, on budget, and aligned with business goals, this is the role for you!

As the Technology & Data Project Manager, you’ll balance the art of user-focused design with the science of effective project execution. You’ll work closely with internal teams, INFRA members, and technology partners to deliver solutions that reduce friction and enhance engagement. This is a dynamic, collaborative role where your organizational skills, technical expertise, and ability to connect with stakeholders will drive meaningful outcomes.
This position is part of our hybrid workforce, currently working Tue, Wed, and Thur in our St Paul MN HQ office.

What you’ll own and improve:

Project Planning & Execution
• Provide project leadership by establishing vision and goals, communication, stakeholder engagement, and being an adoption driver and team coach.
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables that align with business goals.
• Project Management - roadmap, budget, resource allocation, documentation, & communication. Keep folks connected and keep projects on track, in budget, and top quality.
• Manage project risks and issues, proactively identifying solutions to keep projects on track.
• Integrate member experience with technology- balance form and function to create the best member experience. Advocate for smart solutions with delightful look and feel.
• Build process maps that clearly outline processes derived from stakeholder requirements that can be clearly understood by software development teams.

Team Leadership & Collaboration
• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver results, fostering collaboration and clear communication.
• Act as the primary point of contact for updates, decisions, and escalations.
• Empower team members by creating a supportive and goal-oriented environment.

Stakeholder Engagement & UX Integration
• Requirements gathering, outlining use cases. Gather and prioritize requirements from users and stakeholders to ensure deliverables meet their needs.
• Build strong relationships with members, vendors, and internal teams to drive engagement and alignment.
• Technology utilization - maximize adoption, usability, design, efficiency.
• Facilitate regular status meetings and deliver progress reports tailored to different audiences.
• Align project goals with broader company objectives, ensuring strategic cohesion.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation
• Use data to evaluate project outcomes, provide formal or informal reporting, sharing learnings to inform future initiatives.
• Stay informed about industry trends and tools to recommend process or technology enhancements.
• Recommend and implement best practices for technology project management within the organization.

Immediate Projects would include:
• Partnering with the Director of Technology and CRM Application Developer on CRM usability.
• Launching a Member Tech Counsel / focus group with the Director of Technology and IT Manager.
• Build requirements and feature requests from members on INFRA’s automated retailer tools, including INFRA’s customized signage and customized deal flyer tools.

What you already know:
• Experience: 5+ years leading large-and small-scale technology projects with a focus on user-friendly outcomes; experience in Microsoft and web-based environments is required. Up to 3 years experience may be substituted for experience in complex technology systems implementation.
• Project Management Expertise: Proficiency with methodologies like Agile, Waterfall, and Scrum. Proficient in managing CI/CD software development cycles.
• Technical & Analytical Skills: Familiarity with project management tools, CRMs, analytics platforms, and balancing MVPs with long-term innovation.
• Experienced with requirements gathering. Demonstrated ability to collect, distill, and prioritize diverse stakeholder needs.
• Love of data-driven decision making. Skilled at using metrics to inform strategies and measure success.
• Strong ability to influence stakeholders, lead cross-functional teams, and deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Able to manage and effectively prioritize multiple projects and deadlines while consistently delivering high quality results.
• Enjoy deriving insights from data and using them for smart decision making.
• Strong leadership acumen, including leading through influence.
• Experience with Asana and Azure Dev Ops preferred.

Location: INFRA HQ at least 3 days/week on Tue, Wed, Thur.

Reporting: Reports to the Director of Technology

Status: Full-time exempt

Travel requirements: Occasional travel (up to 5%) may be required.

Salary info: TP1 $65,000-$80,000-$95,000
