PURE Insurance is a member-owned property and casualty insurer focused on providing exceptional service to financially successful families. They are seeking candidates for their Technology Analyst Program, where participants will design and develop software solutions while rotating through various functional areas within the technology organization. Responsibilities Participate in a rotational program covering the full software development lifecycle across three functional areas: Business Analysis, Development, and Production Support Gain an understanding of Agile development methodology and how it drives successful technology delivery Build and maintain product backlogs using Agile practices Break down high-level features into deliverable user stories with defined acceptance criteria Develop subject matter expertise in key functions of our core platforms Prepare for and facilitate User Acceptance Testing Analyze business requirements and design solutions for review by senior architects Develop, unit test, and implement features based on approved designs Troubleshoot and resolve escalated support cases, perform root cause analysis, and develop preventative solutions Support production releases as needed Learn to build, deploy, and debug serverless applications using AWS Lambda and ECS Understand the importance of quality assurance and develop with quality in mind Analyze and respond to production support cases Communicate effectively and empathetically with internal and external stakeholders Escalate issues appropriately and update Knowledge Base articles with new resolutions or workarounds Skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field Strong background in coding with proficiency in at least one of the following: Java, JavaScript, or Python Familiarity with relational databases and an understanding of SQL Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, learning-oriented environment Passionate about technology, innovation, and the high net worth insurance market Benefits Opportunities to stretch and grow: your professional and personal development matters to us.Clarity and kindness: you can rely on us to be open, honest and supportive.
