About the Role
We're currently seeking a skilled Technician, IT Services to join our Data Innovation Group within the Data Innovation Division. As a remote data entry professional, you'll play a critical role in supporting end-client computing, including software/hardware installations, upgrades, and general maintenance of PC workstations and peripherals.
Key Responsibilities:
Resolve and close tickets/work orders supporting end-client workstations and peripherals
Address client care issues raised from the Helpdesk
Contribute to workstation projects (global installations/updates) as a project team member
Remotely diagnose and resolve demands using remote tools
Investigate and collaborate with different offices to help with system-related issues
Record client associations in incident management system, including asset management
Recover data from hard disk drives or perform data migration
Support remote access for virtual private network availability, as well as remote/broadband network for workstations
Install and configure local and network-based printers
Perform preventative maintenance
Work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required
Follow management direction, complying with IT policy and procedures
Perform various duties as assigned
Travel, as required
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience/training
2 years of hands-on IT work experience supporting and resolving various PC workstation software and hardware issues
Firsthand experience supporting workstations in a Windows/TCPIP environment
Preferred Qualifications:
A+ certification
MCSE/MCP certification
Previous IT infrastructure experience in an Airline/Airport environment
Skills and Competencies:
General knowledge of all Windows-based operating systems, including Windows 10
Knowledge of workflow and incident management systems
Understanding of VPN networks and ability to troubleshoot issues
Ability to work independently and act in a cooperative, team-based environment
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
