Job description: Bishop & Company is recruiting for a Technical Writer opportunity for our technical solutions client in Honolulu, HI. No C2C, 1099, or relocation assistance offered.
The Technical Writer will work with Subject Matter Experts to document product features and and create instructional content. The Technical Writer will be responsible for writing high quality, easy to read documentation, user interface text, online help, tutorials, and training videos.
This position requires a high level of attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects and produce deliverables on tight deadlines, excellent proofreading and editing skills, strong communication and collaborate skills, and experience working within an Agile environment.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor s degree in Business, English, Communications, Journalism or a related field.
• High level of proficiency in software documentation, including user guides, tutorials, and online help.
• Experience with curriculum design and course development.
• Experience designing, implementing, and testing interactive learning experiences using modern web standards and technology.
• Professional experience using a Learning Management System (LMS).
• Proficient knowledge of DITA and XML authoring tools.
• Ability to independently create, organize and structure documents
• Proven ability to write technically accurate, concise, and detailed content
• Ability to work collaboratively with project teams, subject matter experts, and stakeholders.
