Activities include planned maintenance, emergency corrective maintenance, upgrades, installation work, courtesy calls to local customers and telephone support either from the office in the BU or from a remote location. This is a homebased role ( Avellino- Benevento area, Campania region ) with a requirement to travel throughout the Business Unit and Cluster as required and as directed by their line manager.What you’ll do at ElektaWould you like to be part of our motivated global team, where we aim to attract and invite the best skills to Elekta? We offer you an exciting opportunity to join our Service & Operation team in Italy, which is currently a team of almost 40 members and in the south of Italy there are 10 service engineers.In this exciting and diverse role, you will be asked to serve customers in your area primarily and be available to travel outside your area.ResponsibilitiesAware of and able to follow the company’s policies around compliance, the environment, data management and quality systems. Capable of using and populating the companies service systems and databases.Is capable of independently performing all planned maintenance tasks.Is capable of independently performing the majority corrective maintenance tasks.Can perform more complex fault finding and repair independently.Good presentational skills able to run local knowledge transfer/service meetings in line with experience. Can provide on the job coaching as appropriate in line with experience.Is competent in the use of IntelliMax and QlikSense to proactively monitor and repair systems.What you bringA higher Qualification in a relevant Engineering discipline.Competent with relevant IT technology including Windows OS, Microsoft Office applications, networking.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Demonstrable drive and commitment to Elekta and the tasks in hand.A basic technical and practical competence in Electrical, Electronic and mechanical maintenance.Capable to read and understand Electrical schematic diagrams.Ability to travel extensively and at short notice in Region EuropeClean Driving LicenceWhy should you join Elekta?In this role, you will work for a higher purpose; hope for everyone dealing with cancer, and for everyone regardless of where in the world, to have access to the best cancer care.
