Technical Sales Engineer (remote eligible)
Job Summary:
Responsible for technical sales activities for Modular Process Systems (MPS) and Sample Cabinets...
This role will be responsible for reviewing customer requirements/specifications/3D drawings and industry standards to develop detailed cost proposals.
The key to this position is being relationship focused, trying to take a customers problem and provide solutions that meet their needs.
The Coordinator candidate can be a person who actually does design work and may be interested in selling.
The Coordinator needs to be personable, but thorough, to try to match the technical need first while seen as a problem solver.
Seeking candidates with a foundational understanding and or experience with:
Microsoft Excel
Reading drawings/schematics such as: Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), Assembly / 2D / 3D drawings
Electrical schematics
Bill of Materials (BOM)
Helpful if experienced with ASME Data Sheets
Key Requirements:
Seeking bachelors degree in Engineering or similar level of experience and/or education
Strong customer service, analytical, and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational, research, and multitasking abilities
Strong negotiating and problem-solving skills
Helpful if previously experienced in a technical sales role
