Hours: 40–80 hours/month (flexible, especially during school semesters)Scout Solutions is looking for a Technical Recruiting & Market Intelligence Intern to support our team with sourcing technical talent and identifying market opportunities across the private sector. This role is ideal for someone interested in technology, recruiting, and startup or agency environments. You’ll help build pipelines for positions like Software Engineers, DevOps Engineers, Cloud Architects, and other IT professionals, while also helping us identify companies with growing tech teams and open hiring needs.This remote, part-time position with flexible hours, ideal for students or early-career professionals looking to break into technical recruiting or talent intelligence.Responsibilities
Source and screen candidates for technical positions using LinkedIn, job boards, databases, and boolean search
Review resumes and conduct outreach to prospective candidates
Research and track companies with active tech hiring (e.g., startups, mid-size firms, growing enterprises)
Identify industry trends, emerging tech sectors, and hiring patterns
Assist in the preparation of market snapshots, prospect lists, and competitor analysis
Help monitor job boards and social platforms for new opportunities
Support data entry, reporting, and administrative tasks related to recruiting
Qualifications
0–2 years of experience in recruiting, sourcing, research, or related fields
Must have the ability and creativity to identify prospects and build candidate and sales pipelines for the recruitment industry
Interest in technology, software engineering, or recruiting
Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, virtual environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
Self-starter who’s proactive and eager to learn
No specific degree required — we welcome current students, bootcamp grads, or career changers
Preferred (Not Required)
Familiarity with technical job titles and roles (e.g., frontend/backend, DevOps, cloud, etc.)
Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, sourcing tools, or an applicant tracking system
Exposure to the recruiting or staffing industry is a plus
Expected salary: $10 - 15 per hour
