Technical Project Manager for Audit and Asset Transfer
We are Status Bands, a Reno-based startup building a safety and social wearable. We are preparing for a $750k bridge round. We have an existing dev team and a functional prototype.
We need a high-level Technical Project Manager to perform a Technical Audit and Asset Transfer. Your primary goal is to ensure all Intellectual Property (IP) is secured, documented, and "Investor-Ready."
Key Duties:
Code & Asset Audit: Verify and take "Master Admin" control of GitHub repositories (App/Firmware), AWS/Firebase backend, and Twilio/10DLC accounts.
Hardware Documentation: Collect and verify all manufacturing assets (Gerber files, BOM, STEP/CAD files, Schematics) to ensure they are complete for mass production.
Technical Due Diligence: Create a "Technical Data Room" for investors, including API documentation, system architecture maps, and QA test logs.
Developer Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for our current dev team to ensure the BLE "Handshake" and SOS trigger meet safety-grade latency standards.
Pilot Readiness: Oversee the final "polishing" of the app/firmware to ensure it is stable for our 100-unit deployment.
Requirements:
Proven experience bringing an IoT/Wearable product to market.
Deep understanding of BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) and mobile backgrounding.
Familiarity with A2P 10DLC compliance and SMS gateway logic.
Ability to translate technical "bottlenecks" into clear risk-management reports for the CEO.
