Disney Theatrical Group currently seeks an enthusiastic, hard-working Coordinator to support the Production Department. In this role, the Coordinator will be responsible for providing administrative and project support to the Director of Technical Production and the Production team.This individual must be a highly organized self-starter who can proactively coordinate the demanding workload and competing priorities of the Production team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate poise, discretion, and sound judgment along with a high level of maturity.Responsibilities Include:Coordinate shipping and receiving of office, warehouse and local deliveries, work with Operations DepartmentManage on-site design studio, including booking, set-up and support for our design teamsAssist the Director, Technical Production with the bidding process for all shows, including creating and coordinating bid documentation, scheduling and setting up bid sessions, and communicating with vendors as neededAssist the Director, Technical Production with writing & reviewing documentsManage paper and electronic file storage and organization in Dropbox and SharePoint; organize and execute the digitization of archival documents with the Production Archivist Assist with the development and implementation of internal systems and processesOrganize office space and work with the Operations Department on Production Office needsProvide administrative support to the Director, Technical Production including calendar management, phone coverage, expense reporting and travel bookingFacilitate meetings, set up conference/video conference calls; take and distribute meeting notesCoordinate Vendor invoice processing and coding with the General Managers and the Finance DepartmentResearch production solutions by conducting comprehensive technical research, gathering product details, technical specifications, and venue drawings for international productionsQualifications:2+ years experience in theatrical production, specifically in technical direction, production management, and/or stage management with an interest in theatrical management (production management, technical direction, general management).Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of applications is essential, and a willingness to learn about new technologies is encouraged.Excellent oral/written communication skills and attention to detailBe a collaborative team player who is self-motivated and can work autonomously.The ideal candidate will be adept at understanding the nuances of supporting various team members, with strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse styles and shifting priorities.Please note: this position can be physically demanding (running errands, occasional lifting up to 30 lbs, using stairs) and will require occasional evening/weekend work. The hiring range for this position in New York, NY is $54,900 to $70,900 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
