They partner with leading technologies including Nutanix, F5, Palo Alto Networks, Arista Networks, and Rancher Government Solutions.Role OverviewThe Presales Engineer serves as a trusted technical advisor and solution architect supporting federal and DoD customers. This role combines technical presales strategy, architecture design, and hands-on validation, helping translate mission requirements into secure, scalable solutions.The ideal candidate can engage both executive stakeholders and engineering teams, communicate complex concepts clearly, and contribute technically through proof-of-concepts and architecture validation.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with sales teams to develop technically sound solutions for federal clientsDesign and present secure, compliant architectures across cloud, cybersecurity, and infrastructure domainsBuild proof-of-concepts and technical validations in cloud or lab environmentsEngage directly with customer engineers and leadership throughout the sales lifecycleProduce technical materials including architecture diagrams, solution briefs, and technical contentMaintain alignment with technology partners and stay current on federal cybersecurity frameworks and compliance requirementsRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)10+ years in presales engineering, solutions architecture, or technical consultingStrong expertise in cybersecurity, cloud, and infrastructure technologiesExperience supporting DoD or federal agencies preferredExcellent communication and presentation skillsTechnical ExpectationsExperience architecting and deploying workloads in AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, or similar cloud environmentsKnowledge of cloud networking, identity/access management, hybrid connectivity, encryption, monitoring, and infrastructure-as-codeDeep expertise in at least one technical domain such as cloud architecture, Kubernetes, DevSecOps, network security, identity management, SOC tooling, or AI/data infrastructurePreferredAdvanced certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, AWS Professional, Kubernetes, Palo Alto, Nutanix)Active Secret or TS/SCI clearanceStrong problem-solving ability, technical depth, and ownership mindset
