About the Company: Series A secured, 25 people in total, 10 in engineering and growing! This very young company who were founded under two years ago have taken big strides in their space already! With their ambitious product vision in AI and ML, you will tackle interesting technical challenges that push the boundaries of what's possible. There is the opportunity to work within a complex codebase, own entire product points, and build new features end-to-end. They work on building GenAI and Agentic AI software to help accelerate organisations. Everything they do is entrenched in achieving engineering excellence. This position is full remote from anywhere in the US! About the Technical Lead/Founding Engineer (Agentic AI) Vacancies: • Looking for a talented Technical Lead/Founding Engineer with hands-on experience in architecting, designing, and implementing Agentic AI systems to play a crucial hands-on role in shaping the current and future capabilities of their product • Scale their agents and engineering team focused around each agent • Work intimately with the co-founders and be responsible for building core components and elevating their product • Enhance existing systems and build new ones from scratch, either independently or by leading other engineers Ideal Requirements for the Technical Lead/Founding Engineer (Agentic AI) Vacancies: • Owning various agents and their evolution and the progression in their capabilities • Not that different from SWE roles in terms of being hands on but someone who has demonstrated leadership through being a prior founder/CTO • AI in production experience a plus, having built an AI startup • Each of the agents will be it's own product/company within Sully and then shared resources for infrastructure Bottom End: • From the bottom, training and fine tuning • Feature consensus as part of the model • Anthropic just released a paper on how LLM's work and they were able to make it modular, someone who read that paper and now knows how to make models hallucinate less At the cutting edge of AI evolution • Model training/fine tuning Middle of Stack: • Agentic architecture • LLM Prompt Engineering • Ways to best use and exploit these models Can be open source models, proprietary etc. Evals, prompting Top Layer: • Product layer • Customer understanding/focus Additional Notes: • Strong people leadership experience and bias for action • Hands-on expertise in architecting, designing and implementing agentic AI systems • Exceptional experience in architecting and implementing agentic systems • Hands-on experience using at least agentic frameworks • Hands-on experience using cutting edge LLM, fine-tuning LLM and integrating them in production grade software used by real users • Proven track record in fast-paced startup environments and collaborating with global teams • Must have expertise in React and Python or Node.js • Knowledge of ML, AI, LLMs Apply to the Role: Roles like these are snapped up very quickly, so act now if you do not want to miss out!
