We are seeking an experienced and solution-oriented Technical Lead with strong expertise in Python and Django to lead the development of scalable, high-performance software applications. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a proven track record in full-cycle software development and team leadership. This role involves hands-on coding, architectural planning, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver enterprise-grade solutions hosted on AWS/Azure.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of developers, ensuring high-quality code, adherence to best practices, and continuous technical growth.Architect scalable and maintainable backend solutions using Python, Django, and microservices patterns.Oversee the entire software development lifecyclefrom design and development to testing and deploymentensuring timely delivery of robust applications.Design and implement cloud-native applications and services in AWS or Azure environments.Work closely with product managers, solution architects, analysts, and UI/UX teams to define system architecture and translate requirements into technical specifications.Drive the adoption of modern development practices, tools, and CI/CD pipelines to enhance team efficiency.Conduct peer reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure performance, security, and scalability of applications.Collaborate with data teams to create APIs and data pipelines that support dashboards and large-scale data visualization.Actively contribute to debugging and performance tuning, addressing complex challenges across the codebase.Provide regular updates to stakeholders, manage expectations, and ensure alignment between technical execution and business goals.
Required Skills & Experience
8+ years of software development experience with a focus on Python and Django.Deep understanding of object-oriented and functional programming concepts.Proven experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices.Strong experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.Solid knowledge of relational (MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle) and NoSQL databases.Familiarity with frontend technologies (e.g., ReactJS) is a plus.Excellent communication, leadership, and team collaboration skills.Strong analytical and debugging capabilities with the ability to work independently and in team settings.
