Technical IT Project Manager
This position manages projects with top-down oversight from inception to completion. They must ensure that all projects adhere to the required standards of budget, timeline, and scope. Job Responsibilities
Ā• Maintains information technology strategies by managing staff; researching and implementing technological strategic solutions
Ā• Accomplishes information technology staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
Ā• Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; maintaining a safe and secure work environment; developing personal growth opportunities.
Ā• Maintains organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies.
Ā• Directs technological research by studying organization goals, strategies, practices, and user projects.
Ā• Completes projects by coordinating resources and timetables with user departments and data center.
Ā• Verifies application results by conducting system audits of technologies implemented.
Ā• Preserves assets by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures.
Ā• Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
Ā• Accomplishes financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective action.
Ā• Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
Ā• Responsible for collaboration and communication with various teams as needed
Ā• Conduct interviews, hire, and train new technical support/IT staff
Ā• Provide guidance and insight to upper management and procure buy-in
Ā• Report progress, including any changes made to plans and production
Ā• Contribute to product design and establishment of requirements
Ā• Delegate technical responsibilities and monitor progress of projects
Ā• Deliver products consistently, on time and on budget
Ā• Oversee user testing and report results-adjust requirements as needed
Ā• Work closely with project manager during all phases of development lifecycle
Ā• Review all work produced by development team
Ā• Ensure code produced meets company standards
Ā• Conduct regular status meetings with all necessary stakeholders
Required Qualifications
Ā• 5+ years' experience in project management
Ā• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with team members within IT and throughout all departments and levels of the company
Ā• Excellent planning and organizational skills
Ā• Strong computer and problem solving skills
Ā• Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Preferred Qualifications
Ā• Knowledge of SAP ERP, SAP BW, and/or SAP EWM
Ā• Experience with end to end implementations of SAP systems
Expected Base Pay Not Including Potential Commissions, Incentive, Bonus, etc. Opportunities:
$95,000 - $115,000
