Technical Illustrator / Product Catalog Designer

Join our team as a Freelance Technical Illustrator / Product Catalog Designer and help us create stunning, user-friendly manuals and catalogs for our client's innovative ariel products. This flexible role offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects and collaborate with a dynamic engineering team. Responsibilities • Develop and design technical illustrations and CAD-based drawings for drone assemblies and components. • Organize and compile existing images, drawings, and parts lists into a cohesive and visually appealing catalog or manual. • Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure accuracy and consistency in documentation. • Create both digital and print-ready versions of the product catalog. • Maintain and update documentation as needed to ensure it remains current and relevant. • Design user-friendly, elegant documents that align with a modern, minimalist aesthetic. Skills • Proven experience in technical illustration and CAD-based drawing. • Strong ability to transform raw engineering content into polished, customer-ready documentation. • Excellent design sensibility with a focus on clean and modern aesthetics. • Ability to work independently and organize content logically. Preferred Skills • Experience with aerospace, mechanical systems, drones, UAS, or ariel equipment. • Familiarity with working alongside engineering teams and interpreting parts lists. • A strong portfolio showcasing previous manuals or catalogs.
