Technical Founder
Stealth Bitcoin Reserve & Treasury Startup
We are a stealth startup focused on pioneering solutions in the bitcoin strategic reserve & treasury space, founded by Y Combinator-backed entrepreneurs. With a significant portion of our product already built, we’re poised to disrupt the industry and are seeking a passionate Technical Cofounder to join our mission-driven team.
Role Description
This is an equity-based role for a Technical Cofounder, with no salary until the company secures funding or generates sufficient revenue to support founder compensation. In return, you will receive substantial founder equity. The role can be remote, but looking for founders in the United States or similar time-zones.
Initially you will be the core full-stack engineer, helping us to complete the first version of the product as rapidly as possible (front-end and back-end). As the company grows you will also lead the technical vision, drive product development, and collaborate closely with the founding team to bring our innovative bitcoin strategic reserve solution to market.
Qualifications
• Proven expertise in software development, blockchain technologies, and system architecture
• Must be a full-stack engineer or ability to quickly grow into that with the help of AI tools
• Experience building scalable, secure systems, ideally in fintech or cryptocurrency
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced startup
• Familiarity with bitcoin protocols, cryptography, or digital asset infrastructure
• Experience working with crypto custodians, especially enterprise storage solutions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to align with a small, dynamic team
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to take on risk for high-reward potential
• Ability and willingness to jump in and help with any part of the business needed
• Leadership and strategic ability
