About the Role

As a Technology Data Analyst I at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in shaping the future of our media, advertising, and distribution businesses. You'll work closely with partners across the organization to develop scalable assessment strategies that analyze work portfolios being added to our technology roadmap. Your work will directly influence key business decisions through cost modeling, sequencing and dependency planning, prioritization, and taxonomy buildout.

This position is perfect for someone who is analytically minded, intellectually curious, and thrives on turning data into actionable insights. What You'll Do


Data Integration and Modeling: Orchestrate multiple data sources to build multivariate frameworks that support analysis and drive decisions for the entire organization
Dashboard and Tool Development: Create and deploy tools and dashboards for end users that power data-driven decision-making across all departments
Automation and Scaling: Build strategic decision-making frameworks and write scripts that help automate and scale our operations
Goal Setting and Metrics: Work with partners to establish and identify objectives; define measurable key results and relevant metrics for the business; ensure we track and report on them consistently
Technology Roadmap Stewardship: Be a diligent steward of our technology roadmap and communicate status and plans to partners appropriately
Organizational Goal Achievement: Drive organizational goals forward, navigate through challenges, handle multiple priorities, and ensure alignment with partner objectives


What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications


Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Programming, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field (equivalent work experience will also be considered)
Technical Skills: Experience with informatics, data analysis, and management consulting (specifically in a quantitative or data-heavy role)
Programming Proficiency: Hands-on experience working with data and data manipulation software such as R, SQL, and Python
Visualization Tools: Experience building dashboards using tools like Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms
Database Skills: Proficient in writing database queries and scripts
Technical Understanding: Demonstrated understanding of different types of existing and emerging technologies and their ecosystems
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working with engineering and product teams to develop and launch products
Communication Skills: Ability to translate requirements for both technical and non-technical audiences
Self-Motivation: Strong strategic capability, consistent judgment, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach
Customer Focus: Strong focus on end-user satisfaction with effective perspectives on great user experience
Problem-Solving Attitude: Creative and clever, with no fear of diving into details and a drive to be the first to tackle any challenge


Preferred Qualifications


Experience in Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) sectors, particularly in product management or consulting
Understanding of the online video ecosystem, advertising, and/or media technology landscape
Familiarity with Disney's streaming platforms and content distribution networks
Experience with agile methodologies and project management frameworks
Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and data warehousing solutions

Compensation and Benefits

We believe in rewarding our team members for their hard work and dedication. The hiring range for this position in California is $77,300 to $103,600 annually, and in New York is $81,000 to $108,500 annually, based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation offered will consider internal equity and may vary depending on the applicant's geographic location, work-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.
