Blue Yonder Title: TCO Value Specialist (Total Cost of Ownership Business Vlaue Specialist)Location: Virtual within the USOverviewThis role is part of the Journey to Cognitive Cloud (J2CC) team, a fast-moving, cross-functional group driving the shift of Blue Yonder customers from legacy, non-cognitive solutions to modern cognitive SaaS platforms. The team partners closely with customers to spark interest, prove value, secure buy-in, and deliver end-to-end migrations through go-live. In doing so, the J2CC team transforms legacy maintenance revenue into a scalable SaaS foundation while creating immediate technical and business impact.Scope The TCO/Business Value Specialist is a key contributor to Blue Yonder's J2CC go-to-market motion, responsible for developing compelling business cases and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analyses that accelerate customer migration and expansion decisions. This role bridges the gap between technical solution design and executive-level financial justification, enabling customers and internal stakeholders to clearly understand the quantifiable value of migrating to Blue Yonder's cloud platform.What youâll doBuild rigorous, data-driven TCO models that compare on-premise, hybrid, and Blue Yonder cloud deployment scenarios across licensing, infrastructure, implementation, and operational costsDevelop customer-facing business cases that quantify ROI, payback period, and value realization tied to supply chain KPIs (inventory reduction, service level improvement, labor productivity, etc.)Partner with Sales, Pre-Sales, and Customer Success teams to tailor value narratives for targeted accountsMaintain and continuously improve standardized TCO frameworks, benchmarks, and industry-specific value driversEngage directly with customer finance, IT, and supply chain executives to validate assumptions and co-own the business case narrativeSupport executive presentations, RFP responses, and board-level justification packagesCollaborate with Sales, Services, Product and Marketing to incorporate new J2CC capabilities and cloud pricing models into value frameworksAreas of Focus Customer-Centricity: Develops value cases that resonate with customer prioritiesTechnical & Business Acumen: Integrates technology and financial insights to support migration decisionsValue Creation: Builds robust models to demonstrate migration benefitsCollaboration: Works closely with Strategic Migration specialist (SMS), Cognitive Value advisor (CVA), and Finance teamsIntegrity: Ensures accuracy and transparency in all analysesAgility: Responds quickly to changing data and customer requirementsTrusted Advisory: Communicates complex concepts clearly and crediblyWhat we are looking for10+ yearsâ experience in technology cost analysis, financial modeling, or solution consultingAt least 5 years' experience in Sales for a SaaS solution companyStrong quantitative and analytical skillsExperience supporting migration programs and commercial offersAbility to communicate complex value metrics to customersBachelorâs degree or coparable work experienceComparable Title: Sr Solutions Advisor*LI-AD1#LI-remote-------------------------------------------The base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000, plus a commission component.The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors.
