Responsibilities • Enter personal client data and financial information into tax preparation software. • Prepare tax returns in accordance with firm policies, ensuring information is accurately represented. • Adhere to the firm's written tax practice standards and the firm's 1040 procedure manual. • Ensure client confidentiality by following all company procedures regarding information handling. Requirements • High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. • Individual tax return preparation experience ideal, but not required. • Knowledge of basic accounting concepts involved in tax return preparation preferred. • Adaptable to new technology and ability to work in a paperless environment. • Keen sense of accuracy and attention to detail. • Demonstrated critical thinking and well-developed problem-solving skills. • Ability to work independently and maintain a professional demeanor. • Solid written and verbal communication skills. • Basic Excel skills required. • Experience with Adobe Acrobat preferred. • Ability to obtain PTIN during initial onboarding and training weeks. • Availability to work a minimum of 30 hours per week Monday-Friday between the hours 8am-8pm your local time.
