Tax Manager (Remote with optional hybrid)

We are recruiting for an experienced Tax Manager to join a high-growth, advisory-focused accounting, taxation and business advisory firm with a national footprint and expanding global presence
• Focus area: partnership / flow-through taxation (LLCs, partnerships, S-corps, and private equity-related structures), with a blend of compliance leadership and consulting-style project work
• Work model: remote-first (U.S.) with optional hybrid access to major office hubs for those who want it (team events, trainings, retreats, meet-ups)
• Compensation: competitive market base salary (depending on experience), plus annual bonus, overtime bonus structure, and long-term incentive/equity (RSUs) component at Manager level and above.

• Join a specialized flow-through practice within a broader advisory platform (technical depth + variety of client work)

Role scope:
• Lead and review federal and state compliance for partnerships/LLCs (flow-through), S-corps, and complex multi-entity structures
• Step into high-impact, project-based roles for clients (often acting as an outsourced/embedded tax manager during peak periods, transformations, or special projects)
• Support M&A-related work (tax due diligence, structuring considerations, and transaction-driven consulting support)
• Produce client-ready deliverables including technical guidance/memos on partnership tax topics and evolving tax considerations
• Drive organization and execution across multiple deadlines, teams, and stakeholders; elevate quality control and client communication
• Mentor and develop junior talent; contribute to practice building and business development efforts as you grow

Qualifications:
• Tax experience in public accounting and/or relevant industry, with meaningful partnership / flow-through entity depth
• Strong working knowledge of partnership taxation concepts and real-world application in compliance and consulting contexts
• Experience reviewing and managing complex returns and workpapers; ability to own deliverables end-to-end
• Comfortable in a client-facing environment (building relationships, leading discussions, managing expectations, and presenting conclusions clearly)
• Strong project management skills: prioritization, multi-tasking, and delivery under deadlines
• Proficiency with Excel and common tax software/tools; interest in process improvement and modernizing workflows is a plus
• CPA and/or MST preferred (not required if partnership/flow-through experience is strong)
