We've partnered with a leading Investment Management Firm focused on retirement planning for high-net-worth individuals. They are seeking a Tax Manager to join their growing Tax Team. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work closely with existing wealth management clients, providing strategic tax planning and compliance expertise.
Tax Manager Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement tax strategies aligned with retirement and wealth management goals.
• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, trusts, and investment entities.
• Advise clients on tax-efficient investment strategies, estate planning, and retirement distributions.
• Ensure compliance with IRS regulations and monitor changes in tax laws impacting retirement planning.
• Collaborate with financial advisors and portfolio managers to deliver integrated client solutions.
• Supervise and mentor junior tax staff, ensuring accuracy and adherence to best practices.
Tax Manager Requirements:
• CPA designation or EA (Enrolled Agent License) required.
• Strong knowledge of individual taxation, estate planning, and investment-related tax issues.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for client-facing interactions.
• Experience with tax software and financial planning tools.
• Prior experience in wealth management or investment advisory preferred.
