Responsibilities • Prepare and review individual and small business tax returns (1040, 1120, 1065). • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws while providing high-quality tax planning services. • Work closely with senior tax professionals to support more complex tax filings and resolve tax issues. • Manage start-to-finish tax preparation processes for a variety of clients, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines. Requirements • Active Enrolled Agent (EA) designation (required). • 2+ years of experience in tax preparation with a focus on individual and small business returns. • Familiarity with UltraTax CS or similar tax preparation software. • Strong knowledge of Michigan tax regulations and compliance requirements. • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
