Tax Accountant for Complex Individual and Business Returns

We are seeking an experienced Remote Tax Accountant for complex individual and business tax returns, with a minimum of 5 years tax experience and Lacerte tax software experience in the last 2 years. At least 24 hours per week from late February to mid April and thereafter part time. The work is fun, interesting and challenging. CPA is preferred but not required. We are extremely flexible where the hours can be customized to fit your needs. We offer a competitive salary based on your experience. All facets of this position involve using the most current technology available in a fun PC environment. For Individual returns: We use “Lacerte” tax software, “Safesend” to gather the tax information as well as deliver the returns, “Sureprep” to OCR the documents, import into the tax software and create the workpapers. “Smartvault” for document management. All state of the art software that works great for working remote. For Business entities: We use an assortment of trial balance programs including “Caseware.” All trial balances are imported into our “Lacerte” tax software. This position is also perfect for a retired tax professional or someone seeking full time tax season and flexible part time work during the rest of the year.
