We are seeking a skilled Talent Acquisition Interviewer to support one of our valued clients by conducting professional candidate interviews and delivering objective hiring assessments.
Position Overview
The Talent Acquisition Interviewer will be responsible for conducting structured, unbiased interviews with candidates and providing clear, objective evaluations to support hiring decisions. This role works closely with Talent Acquisition teams, Human Resources, and Hiring Managers to assess candidate qualifications, competencies, and alignment with organizational culture while ensuring compliance with employment laws and hiring best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct structured and behavioral interviews for assigned positions across multiple departments and seniority levels
Evaluate candidates against established competencies, job requirements, and success criteria
Maintain fair, consistent, and unbiased interviewing practices throughout the hiring process
Utilize standardized interview guides, rating scales, and assessment tools where applicable
Document interview findings accurately and objectively, including actionable recommendations
Submit interview summaries and scoring within established turnaround expectations
Protect confidentiality and maintain strict data privacy standards
Represent both Turner Staffing Group and client organizations professionally, ensuring a positive candidate experience
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED plus six (6) years of Talent Acquisition or Human Resources-related experience; OR
Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of Talent Acquisition or Human Resources-related experience
Demonstrated experience conducting professional interviews, including employment, executive, panel, or assessment-based interviews
Strong understanding of behavioral and competency-based interviewing methods
Ability to assess candidate qualifications objectively and consistently
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with employment law compliance, including EEOC and non-discriminatory interviewing practices
High level of professionalism, confidentiality, discretion, and ethical judgment
Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple interview assignments simultaneously
Reliable access to video conferencing platforms and applicant tracking systems as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Background in Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or related field
Experience interviewing as an independent contractor, especially for technical, niche, or leadership-level roles
Proficiency with ATS platforms and business technology systems
Ability to reprioritize quickly in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Interviewing certification is a plus
Mining, energy, oil, gas, or industrial sector experience is highly preferred
