Tableau Data Visualization and Reports Analyst

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Tableau Data Visualization and Reports Analyst to support a major healthcare‑focused federal program. The Tableau Data Visualization and Reports Analyst will serve as the front‑end data expert, developing high‑impact dashboards and reporting solutions for a leading organization within the federal healthcare industry.

Responsibilities of the Tableau Data Visualization and Reports Analyst:
• Design, build, and maintain accurate, repeatable Tableau dashboards, reports, and performance metrics.
• Ensure all dashboards follow Tableau’s visual standards and best practices for clarity, accuracy, and usability.
• Lead cross‑functional efforts to standardize reporting definitions and align metrics across the program.
• Identify and leverage Tableau capabilities to optimize reporting for complex datasets and analytical use cases.
• Oversee delivery of reports and insights that support operational, performance, and strategic decision‑making.
• Improve intake, data validation, analysis, and reporting processes through automation and optimization.
• Prepare reporting decks and presentation materials for leadership and stakeholders.
• Identify trends, variation, and opportunities that enhance operational performance.
• Participate in DAILY team meetings and collaborate across multiple concurrent projects.

Qualifications of the Tableau Data Visualization and Reports Analyst:
• 5+ years of experience designing and developing analytics and reporting solutions in Tableau.
• Expert‑level Tableau dashboard development and configuration aligned with Tableau standards.
• Strong SQL experience, including writing queries and troubleshooting data inconsistencies.
• Expert‑level skills with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
• Valid Tableau Consultant (Designer Path) certification and/or active Tableau Data Analyst/Specialist Desktop certification (Trailblazer link required).
• Must have lived in the U.S. for 3 of the last 5 years.
• Ability to obtain a CMS Public Trust clearance.
• Master‑level communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey insights to technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Ability to multitask across multiple projects and collaborate with diverse business and technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:
• Experience with Salesforce or Salesforce Visualforce.
• Experience preparing data using Excel for Apex Data Loader.
• Healthcare or CMS program experience.
• Experience mentoring junior staff or clients.
• Experience with AWS cloud environments.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks such as SAFe, Scrum, or Kanban.

Compensation for the Tableau Data Visualization and Reports Analyst includes:
• Salary range: $100,000 - $120,000
• Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO
