We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and technically proficient Systems Integration Technician to join our fast-paced Projects Department. This essential role is critical to the successful implementation of new and existing client surveillance systems. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in the virtual configuration of equipment, technical support during installation, and the creation of comprehensive project documentation. This position requires strong technical aptitude, meticulous organizational skills, and the ability to effectively collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects are completed to the highest standards. Essential Job Functions : Project Planning & Documentation: Create and maintain detailed project documentation, including network maps, equipment lists, property maps, light audits, obstruction audits, and client Portal Maps for new installations and system updates. Coordinate the ordering and scheduling of internet service installations for client sites. Virtual Configuration & Support: Perform virtual configuration of a range of network equipment, including switches, radios, routers, and IP cameras, to meet project specifications. Collaborate remotely with field installers to assist with camera aiming, focusing, and final tuning post-installation. Conduct virtual verification of network connectivity and system functionality to ensure seamless deployment. Provide tele-support and virtual resolutions in collaboration with the Service team for newly installed sites. Technical Troubleshooting & Collaboration: Perform basic network troubleshooting and diagnostics for surveillance equipment. Collaborate closely with Inventory and Procurement teams to ensure accurate and timely ordering of equipment for projects. Work effectively with Project Managers, Subcontractors, System Design, Service, and Review teams to ensure all equipment and network standards are consistently met across projects. Project Completion & Decommissioning: Manage the backend removal of client sites and system decommissioning processes as projects conclude. Workflow Management: Efficiently manage and prioritize multiple competing projects and assignments simultaneously. Qualifications & Skills : Experience & Technical Expertise: High school diploma or equivalent; a technical certification or Associate's degree in a related field is preferred. Basic understanding of networking concepts (e.g., IP addressing, subnetting, Wi-Fi). Experience with Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Familiarity with network mapping tools or CAD software is a plus. Work Ethic & Autonomy: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating self-motivation and a positive, professional attitude. Strong problem-solving skills, with a passion for hands-on technical challenges in a fast-paced environment. Excellent time management, planning, and proactive thinking skills. Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a strong ability to follow directions and meet deadlines. Communication & Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with active listening abilities. Strong interpersonal skills, fostering positive team collaboration and customer service.
