Job Description:
ā¢ The Systems Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining system lifecycle management, security, resiliency, and performance across production and non-production environments.
ā¢ This role operates with minimal supervision and drives infrastructure improvements, architectural standardization, and capacity planning initiatives across the organization.
ā¢ The engineer provides advanced technical support, leads disaster recovery planning and testing, addresses security vulnerabilities, and ensures the stability and optimization of enterprise infrastructure systems.
Requirement/Must Have:
ā¢ Eight years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
ā¢ At least four years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining technology infrastructure.
ā¢ Experience configuring and troubleshooting Windows and UNIX/Linux environments.
ā¢ Experience managing and monitoring Exchange Server 2003 2016, Windows Server 2003 2016, and MCSE server infrastructure.
ā¢ Strong knowledge of cloud-based platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
ā¢ Strong knowledge of virtualization and containerization technologies including Hyper-V, vSphere, Citrix, SQL, and Terminal Services.
ā¢ Strong knowledge of VPN configuration and troubleshooting including Cisco, Palo Alto, OpenVPN, and IPSec.
ā¢ In-depth knowledge of security technologies including antivirus, anti-spam, anti-spyware, and related tools.
ā¢ Strong networking knowledge including OSI model and TCP/IP.
ā¢ Ability to design and support disaster recovery solutions.
ā¢ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities:
ā¢ Design, implement, and maintain systems lifecycle management, security, resiliency, and performance.

ā¢ Review and approve vendor invoices as required.
ā¢ Support organizational quality programs.
ā¢ Travel as required and perform additional duties as assigned.
Should Have:
ā¢ Bachelor s degree in Information Management, Computer Science, or related technology field preferred.
ā¢ Technical institute certifications preferred.
ā¢ Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
ā¢ Ability to create comprehensive and accurate technical documentation and reports.
ā¢ Ability to work effectively in a team environment and meet performance competencies.
