We are now seeking a highly skilled Systems Analyst to join our HR team, focusing on HRIS support and benefits administration. Job Overview The Systems Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the Human Resources (HR) Department, including Benefits, HR, Leave of Absence, Compliance, and Projects. This full-time, salaried, and exempt position will report to the Director of Employee Benefits and will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including SAP HRIS management, analytical and technical support, system configuration, and programming. Key Responsibilities Participate in and support SAP HRIS gatherings, updates, training, and instruction, ensuring seamless HR system operations. Identify, propose, and implement ongoing process enhancements and policy changes to improve HR service delivery. Act as a liaison between the HR department and the Information Systems department, as well as external vendors, to resolve system-related issues. Test, configure, and implement patches and upgrades for SAP, Kronos, Benefits Enrollment System, and other relevant HR systems. Develop and implement testing strategies, scripts, and adjustments to the current system configuration to ensure system integrity. Provide technical support for Benefits Plans, Paid Time Off Benefits, FMLA, and State Leave of Absence Laws, including coding and configuration in SAP and Kronos. Collaborate with end-users to understand system requirements and implement changes, ensuring minimal disruption to HR services. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of system configurations and processes. Serve as a backup for monthly billing of Life, Optional Life, and Long Term Disability Plans. Handle EEO-1 reporting, annual audits, and other related tasks, such as census reports and Excel reports. Manage Organization Management tasks, including job code evaluation, workers' compensation code management, and EEO category setup. Stay updated on legislative developments affecting benefit plans and HR practices, providing counsel on the impact of changes. Contribute to the development of project requirement documents for submission to the Information Systems and Projects teams. Educate employees on benefits and HR systems, communicating changes and updates to staff and employees. Create presentations to simplify complex benefits and HR issues for various employee groups. Demonstrate sound judgment in selecting approaches to solve problems and complete tasks efficiently. Complete other related tasks and responsibilities as assigned, including occasional weekend work. Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must have: A graduate degree in a relevant field. Strong skills in SAP HCM and Kronos Leave/Accruals. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio. Experience with data analysis and extraction of database information for queries and reporting. The ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. A strong attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines. The capacity to multitask on deliverables and lead phases of an implementation or project. Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Previous experience in HRIS support or a similar role. Familiarity with benefits administration and compliance. Knowledge of HR systems beyond SAP and Kronos. Experience with project management and implementation. Compensation and Benefits The salary for this position ranges from $20 to $30 per hour, depending on experience.
