A core element of the transformation for New York Life's business will be the design and development of end-to-end digital solutions to drive revenue growth, achieve efficiencies, increase client satisfaction, and maintain relevancy as the pace of digitization accelerates. The Solutions Testing team sits at the heart of that endeavor and will work across the business and with key functional partners including Service, Technology and Agency to create and deliver smart, client-centric, and best-in-class digital solutions to market.

The System Testing Sr. Associate within Solutions Testing team will perform system and end to end testing for new products, system enhancements and system fixes ensuring that all release requirements are met and processed correctly prior to release. If errors are found through testing, this individual will work with the appropriate teams across product, technology and the business to remediate.

The individual will have strong analytical and communication capabilities, creative problem-solving skills, project management discipline, and a passion for process improvement. A strong understanding of technology and distribution needs/practices is a plus.

What You'll Do:
• Lead and influence testing initiatives
• Make timely and critical decisions regarding system test plans
• Review system testing for development projects impacting the primary administrative systems
• Communicate and document any issues found in system testing
• Collaborate with reconciliation teams to support new accounting functionality

What You'll Bring:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Data Analytic preferred
• 2-4 years related experience
• Knowledge of Life Insurance & Annuities products a plus
• Experience working with mainframe and web-based applications and administrative systems a plus
• Familiarity with SAFE Agile methodology and JIRA a plus

Pay Transparency

Salary Range: $62,500-$105,000

Overtime eligible: Exempt

Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes

Sales bonus eligible: No

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.

Please note: This role requires FINRA licensed and/or FINRA Associated Person pre-hire fingerprinting.
