System Administrator – Web Hosting Support (cPanel & WordPress)
We are looking for a skilled and reliable System Administrator to join our support team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting Linux-based web hosting servers, supporting cPanel environments, and resolving WordPress and database-related issues.
This role requires someone who is comfortable diagnosing website problems, auditing databases, maintaining server backups, and quickly resolving server downtime incidents. The candidate should be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple support tasks efficiently.

• ** Key Responsibilities ***
1. Web Hosting Server Management
- Manage and monitor Linux web hosting servers (CloudLinux / AlmaLinux).
- Maintain and support cPanel/WHM environments.
- Configure and manage essential services including Apache, Nginx, PHP, MySQL/MariaDB, DNS, and email services.
- Monitor server performance and resource usage to ensure optimal operation.
2. Website & WordPress Support
- Troubleshoot and resolve WordPress website issues, including plugin conflicts, theme errors, and performance problems.
- Debug website errors and resolve PHP, server, and configuration issues.
- Assist with website migrations, restorations, and configuration updates.
- Analyze logs to diagnose and fix website errors.
3. Database Management & Auditing
- Audit MySQL/MariaDB databases and tables to detect corruption or performance issues.
- Repair or optimize database tables when necessary.
- Troubleshoot database connection errors and query performance problems.
- Maintain database integrity and ensure proper backups.
4. Server Security
- Implement and maintain security best practices for hosting servers.
- Configure and manage server firewalls (CSF / iptables).
- Monitor servers for suspicious activity or vulnerabilities.
- Apply regular updates and patches to maintain system security.
5. Backup & Disaster Recovery
- Configure and monitor server backup systems.
- Verify backup integrity and perform restoration when required.
- Assist in data recovery procedures when server or website issues occur.
6. Server Monitoring & Issue Resolution
- Monitor servers to detect downtime, performance degradation, or service failures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve server outages, crashes, or connectivity issues.
- Analyze server logs to identify and resolve system problems.
- Ensure minimal downtime and quick issue resolution.
7. Remote Server Management
- Access and manage servers through KVM/IPMI for remote troubleshooting and recovery.
- Diagnose server boot issues and perform emergency recovery tasks when required.
8. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain documentation of server configurations, fixes, and maintenance activities.
- Document troubleshooting steps and solutions for recurring issues.
- Provide updates on server health, incidents, and resolutions.
• ** Required Skills & Experience ***
- Strong experience managing Linux web servers (CloudLinux / AlmaLinux).
- Hands-on experience with cPanel / WHM administration.
- Strong knowledge of WordPress troubleshooting and debugging.
- Experience working with MySQL/MariaDB database management.
- Familiarity with Apache, Nginx, PHP, and web server configurations.
- Experience with server backup and restoration procedures.
- Knowledge of server security best practices and firewalls (CSF).
