The hiring range for this role is: 201,392.00 - 282,440.00This is the lowest to highest salary we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. Synergie is focused on improving affordability and access to prescription drugs covered under the medical and pharmacy benefits for nearly 100 million Americans.The Senior Vice President Pharmacy Supply Chain serves as a senior leader shaping the success of our organization. Collaborates with the Executive Leadership Team in setting and driving organizational vision and execution. Role is responsible for driving strategy and activity for the economics, implementation, operational excellence, and quality client satisfaction of Synergie’s pharmacy supply chain solutions, including leading engagement with Synergie’s pharmacy network providers and other pharmacy supply chain vendors. Leads these functions to ensure efficiency, scalability, and service excellence of Synergie’s business model. This position offers a unique opportunity to serve as a key leader in driving the growth of a significant startup in a critical and emerging segment of healthcare.Primary Job FunctionsLeads the strategy, implementation, operations, and financial analysis of Synergie’s pharmacy supply chain pricing contracts on behalf of Synergie’s health plan clients and their pharmacy benefit administrators.Leads the strategic implementation of processes to assure effective management of pharmacy supply chain and support the alignment of drug contract compliance, and communication of strategies to Plan participants.Collaborates across the Blue Cross Blue Shield organization to ensure operational and financial success with the various plan stakeholders related to Synergie.Develops and implements operational policies, procedures, and best practices in collaboration with plan stakeholders to optimize performance and outcomes related to Synergie's pharmacy supply chain offering.Responsible for the financial and operational performance of Synergie’s pharmacy supply chain products, monitoring, assessing, and identifying areas for Plan optimization and taking proactive measures to enhance efficiency.Builds and develops a small team, ensuring operational excellence, and providing impactful coaching/leadership by fostering a culture aligned with Synergie’s guiding values of service and performance.Education, Experience and CertificationEducationRequired: Bachelors DegreePreferred: Masters DegreeExperienceRequired:15 years' experience of demonstrated success in senior healthcare finance, underwriting and/or operations or supply chain leadership.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesExperience in the prescription drug delivery industry, using computer-based tools for data management and analysisPrior project/program leadership experience that demonstrates the ability to set priorities and meet objectives for complex projects involving multiple stakeholdersStrong background in pharmacy benefits management, pharmacy networks and healthcare payer pricing, underwriting or operationsKnowledge of financial accounting and controls, auditing, customer services operations, claim processing, market research, benefits delivery, quality assurance and contract administrationExperience working with Blue Cross and Blue Shield plans preferredProven track record of successfully executing growth initiatives in a complex healthcare environmentStrong leadership of teams through setting a vision, coaching, and delivering resultsStrong analytical, planning, and organizational skills; outstanding time management skillsHands-on, ‘roll up your sleeves’ approach to solving business challengesThe ability to effectively influence health plan leaders for alignment and positive outcomesFlexibility, adaptability, and ability to operate in a dynamic high-speed environment.Excellent written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills.Technical proficiency with information technologies (e.g., Microsoft software applications)Financial ResponsibilitiesRevenue Responsibility: NoBudget Responsibility: YesPeople Management: Yes
