Sustainability Reporting Controller
The Sustainability Reporting Controller will lead the governance, accuracy, and compliance of all sustainability related financial and non?financial disclosures. This role is responsible for ensuring robust internal controls, alignment with evolving ESG regulatory requirements, and high?quality sustainability data management across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
ā¢ Oversee sustainability reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and audit?readiness of ESG and financial?adjacent disclosures.
ā¢ Apply strong financial controls and audit expertise to validate sustainability metrics, documentation, and internal reporting workflows.
ā¢ Maintain and enhance compliance with SOX requirements, ensuring sustainability data and reporting controls meet regulatory standards.
ā¢ Review and interpret new and emerging sustainability regulations, supporting the organization's readiness for evolving ESG frameworks.
ā¢ Partner closely with cross functional teams to assess sustainability data sources, validate assumptions, and ensure consistent reporting methodologies.
ā¢ Support internal and external audit activities related to sustainability and ESG disclosures.
ā¢ Leverage experience in life sciences to ensure reporting practices align with industry?specific regulatory expectations and data environments.
Required Experience:
ā¢ Proven experience in financial controls, auditing, and sustainability reporting.
ā¢ Strong understanding of SOX compliance and internal control frameworks.
ā¢ Hands?on experience managing, validating, and reviewing sustainability/ESG data and related documentation.
ā¢ Background in the life sciences sector, with direct ESG reporting or compliance experience.
