Responsibilities
ā¢ Assist in the collection of surveying data for pipeline projects
,
ā¢ Place marks, stakes, pins, and monuments
,
ā¢ Drive stakes to fix survey points and determine location data
,
ā¢ Measure distances using survey tape and accurately read measurements
,
ā¢ Carry stakes and other field equipment over long distances and through various terrains
,
ā¢ Perform maintenance of field equipment and maintain supplies for the survey crew
,
ā¢ Take direction from the Party Chief in a safe and efficient manner
Requirements
ā¢ Previous pipeline surveying experience preferred
,
ā¢ Familiarity with commonly used surveying terms and survey tools
,
ā¢ Strong work ethic and team-player attitude
,
ā¢ Successful completion of pre-employment fitness-for-duty physical, background check, and drug screen
,
ā¢ A valid driver license
,
ā¢ Willingness to travel
