This role cultivates and maintains strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external clients to ensure the delivery of high-quality survey products and reporting.The Survey Manager collaborates closely with consulting partners and other Survey Managers to support the report delivery process, helping define roles, responsibilities, timelines, and deliverables. The role works cross-functionally with external clients, functional IT teams, internal consultants across practices, and software delivery team members to ensure efficient execution and successful product delivery.At the Intermediate level, this role supports the report delivery process and works cross-functionally to ensure efficient execution and successful product delivery. Statements of work, documentation, and ongoing communication help establish clear expectations and effective collaboration between the Survey Team and other SullivanCotter teams.primary accountabilitiesSurvey Delivery & ReportingLeads the end-to-end survey lifecycle, serving as project manager across all phases including survey build, launch, close, and reportingOversees questionnaire development, data collection, cleaning, analysis, and reporting while documenting requirements and specificationsManages report production, including layout, table and graph generation, narrative development, proofing, and editing, and understands how survey inputs translate to reporting outputsReviews final deliverables (e.g., reports, custom analyses, ad hoc requests) to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to reporting standardsEnsures consistency in analytical approaches, interpretation of findings, and development of insights and recommendations Data & Analytics QualityOversees quality assurance practices to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of survey data and reporting outputsPerforms advanced data cleaning and validation and facilitates structured data-cleaning reviews with support from subject matter expertsValidates survey data structures and reporting tables and reviews code outputs to ensure alignment with reporting expectationsMaintains and updates data dictionary documentation when new fields or derived metrics are introduced Client & Stakeholder CollaborationBuilds and maintains strong working relationships with consulting partners, clients, and survey team members to support effective collaboration and deliveryServes as a primary client liaison, responding to questions related to survey data and processes, supporting submissions, and proactively anticipating client needsCommunicates project priorities, workload, and progress to stakeholders and provides regular updates on survey project status and risks Operational Excellence & ResearchIdentifies and implements opportunities to improve survey products, processes, and operational efficiency while supporting standardizationContributes to research insights, articles, and marketing materials through analysis of survey and data assets and maintains awareness of survey scope, budget considerations, and revenue implications Technical ToolsUtilizes the Databricks workspace to run queries, review SQL notebooks, and leverage Databricks AI Assistant to support analysis and troubleshootingknowledge, skills & abilitiesMinimum Required QualificationsBachelor of Science or Bachelor of Business Administration, computer science, data analytics/statistics or equivalent degree7+ years of relevant experience in data analytics, statistical research or product management with demonstrable analytical and critical thinking skillsSolid technical knowledge and experience working with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SmartSheetDemonstrates ownership of assigned tasks and dedication and perseverance to get the job doneFlexible, adaptable, and able to work under tight deadlines or changing needsConfidence and the ability to work independentlyExceptional client service orientationDiligence Preferred QualificationsMBA or Master’s degreeBasic programming experience, including Alteryx, SQL, Python or RExperience in Databricks, Tableau/BI or related platformsKnowledge of the health care industryFamiliarity with salary surveys, market pricing, and benchmarksProject Management experienceOther Skills & AbilitiesProficiency in creating, summarizing, and presenting ideas or analytical findings in a business-friendly and user-friendly languageSelf-starter with demonstrated ability to successfully execute on or lead complex project deliverables in a very driven and changing organizationAbility to learn and individually contribute as required by each job level; a lead is an advanced-level contributor and recognized as a subject matter expertConsistently manages time and executes tasks per established deadlines in a high-pressure environmentConsistently performs with a high degree of critical thinking, analytical foresight, and attention to detailCollaborative team player, able to work in a virtual and matrixed team-based environment, and develop and maintain relationshipsAble to consistently execute or lead multiple projects simultaneously and maintain high-quality workExcellent written and oral communication skillsMentors more junior analysts within the team and through cross-functional workgroups/initiativesWork EnvironmentWorking hours are Monday-Friday, 8-5, with the flexibility to work overtime required. Remote position; however, we do have office space available in Minneapolis and Chicago. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be physically able to perform the essential functions of the job. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors including but not limited to academic achievements, skills and experience. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.$100,700 – $145,000This is a remote role; however, we only operate in the following states: CA, CO, AZ, FL, GA, IL, IN, MA, MI, MN, MO, NC, NJ, NY, OH, PA, TX and WI.
